Second round of return for the first team, engaged in the double home match (Sunday 23rd, 11am and 3pm) against Brescia. In the first leg the teams shared the stakes, with the red and whites masters of the first match and the Leonessa prevailing in game 2 led by the starting pitcher Velazquez, author of an excellent performance on the mound. The championship performance of the two next opponents so far has been quite similar and the minimum gap between them in the standings demonstrates precisely this thesis; the construction of the roster of both is also very similar, with several very young people assisted by top-level veterans. Both Piacenza and Brescia are coming off a draw in the last round, against Ares and CABS Seveso respectively and both are aiming for a double to stay as close as possible to the playoff zone. The red and white infirmary is emptying and even if the return from injuries will obviously have to be gradual, the awareness of having an almost complete roster available constitutes an added value in every match.
