Borgatti, teacher and artist, dies – Teramo

ROSE GARDEN. Middle and high school teacher in Lombardy and Abruzzo, but also musician, founder of the Italian saxophonists association and councilor of the “Teramo Nostra” association. All this was Enrico Borgatti, 77 years old, passed away on Wednesday evening after a long illness. Father of Marco Borgattipresident of the Borsacchio Guides, leaves his wife Patricia Corradi and the other two children Claudia and Giulio. Having moved in 1973, he taught in schools in both Lombardy and Abruzzo until 2013, the year in which he retired, and was also coordinator of the provincial cultural heritage commission (since 2001) and of the Committee for the defense of the Constitution (since 2002). «A person outside the lines, eclectic, troublesome, communist, man of culture, musician», this is how his son Marco describes him, «but today I remember him as a father in the happy moments and in the hard moments that exist in the relationships between father and son» . The funeral home has been set up in the Antonio Ruggieri funeral home in Voltarrosto and the funeral will take place today at 11am in the Sacred Heart church. At the end of the rite, the body will be cremated and will rest in the Roseto cemetery. (lv)
