L’AQUILA – The young pianist from L’Aquila Jacopo Petrucciborn in 1999, will perform on July 6th at 6.30 pm in the evocative setting of the ancient church of S. Maria dei Lumi in Bassano in Teverina.
During the concert, Jacopo Petrucci will perform pieces by historic pianist authors such as Isaac Albéniz and Sergei Prokofiev, as well as the music of the young but promising composer Paolo Catenaccio, born in 1998. This varied program will highlight the artistic sensitivity and technical mastery of the young pianist , offering the public a unique musical experience.
Jacopo Petrucci, born and raised in L’Aquila, is conquering the Italian musical panorama with his talent and dedication. Already known for his ability to interpret a vast and complex repertoire with depth and precision, Petrucci continues to gather acclaim and be noticed also as a composer.
“The music of the twentieth century is a continuous discovery of different styles, themes and sounds that convey to us the strong individuality of the composer’s figure, as can be seen in the pages of Albéniz and Prokofiev”, declared Jacopo Petrucci. “The music of Paolo Catenaccio, a contemporary piece featured in the programme, represents for me a testimony of this creative freedom transported into the new millennium”.
