The arrest of the Italian-Moroccan citizen who on Tuesday during his lunch break caused thousands of euros of damage in just a few tens of meters has been validated.

The alarm was raised by some passers-by and residents who noticed this man who, in an evident state of strong agitation and alteration, was banging his skateboard against the windows of some shops along Corso Alessandria in the stretch between Piazza Primo Maggio and the roundabout. along Corso Casale.

Cartoleria Buffetti, L’Orchidea Atelier, Ecotecnica, Tabaccheria San Pietro: these are all those that have received considerable damage from man’s fury. But he had no mercy even for the door of a condominium and for some parked cars, smashing the rear-view mirror of a T-Cross and ruining the bodywork of a Fiat 500.

He was stopped by a Volante patrol, which intervened immediately after the first phone calls from passers-by. He blocked and arrested him, not without difficulty given his fury and the anger that continued to agitate him.

In court, at the validation hearing, he gave his explanation for what happened. He said that the skateboard belonged to him and was his means of transport and that he was very nervous because they had stolen (or perhaps he had lost) a wooden crucifix which had a very special meaning for him. He admitted everything, saying that this “loss” made him lose control.

At the end of the hearing which was held in court in Asti in the presence of the arrested person’s lawyer, the lawyer Adriano Favero, the judge ordered the obligation to stay in his city of residence, Alba, but it still hung on him a prison order to atone for a final sentence (not yet notified because he was untraceable) and for this reason he was transferred to prison in Asti where he still remains.
