The 2024-25 sports season officially starts today, July 1st Lecce didn’t waste any time. The Salento club has announced the list of players called up for the gathering in Salento and the established program.
To better optimize the work of the Technical and Medical Areas and the trainers, the players will be divided into two groups; the first will meet on Monday 8 July while the second will meet on Thursday 11 July.
Following the meeting in Salento, with the necessary medical visits, the team group will move to the training camp, where they will be at work for two weeks.
Lecce’s pre-season retreat: where and when
The Giallorossi will be guests of the Austrian town of Neustift im Stubaital, a municipality located in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land, from 14 to 28 July 2024.
The team group will stay at the Hotel Milderer Hof, while the training sessions will take place at the SSV Neustift – Stadion.
Lecce-Galatasaray to be played in Austria
The Salento club, through an official note, confirmed a rumor that emerged in recent days. A match between Lecce and Galatasaray will be played in Austria.
US Lecce announces that during the pre-season retreat, which will take place in Neustift im Stubaital (Austria) from 14 to 28 July, the team will be involved in a series of friendly tests.
An international friendly match has been announced, which the Giallorossi will play against Galatasaray SK, at the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz (Austria) as part of the Upper Austria Summer Series hosted by LASK, scheduled for Wednesday 24 July with kick-off set for 19:30.
