BUSTO ARSIZIO – The appointment is for tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 22 June: a sporting event will take place in Busto Arsizio which is also an absolute novelty, it is the first edition of the Tre Valli Varesine Handbike, demonstration paracycling organized, in close collaboration with the municipal administration, by the Alfredo Binda cycling club, an important sporting reality in the area which promotes classic racing for professionals and Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race which have been starting in Busto Arsizio for a few years.

In this case Busto tomorrow will not only be the starting point of the competition, but will be the backdrop with the circular route along the city streets to the race that will award the Municipality of Busto Arsizio Trophy – e-work Grand Prix, as part of the race national “Italian cup test 2024”, categories handbikes, tricycles and under 14s.

Appointment for the start of the first race at 3.30 pm from the Textile Museum, followed by the second race at 5.00 pm. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 7.00 pm in the square garden of the Textile Museum.

During the presentation a few weeks ago, Renzo Oldani, president of the Alfredo Binda Cycling Society, underlined: “With the Municipality of Busto Arsizio, we wanted to create a sporting event that symbolizes a unprecedented moment of inclusion, representing a step forward in promoting accessibility and equality in sport. This new race encourages us to do better and better, also committing ourselves to the Paralympic movement.” Tomorrow everyone will applaud the athletes.
