Various events and demonstrations scheduled in Rome on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June: roads and public transport therefore change.
Saturday There is the Rome Pride 2024. From 2pm to 8pm procession from Republic square to avenue of the Baths of Caracallapassing along via Luigi Einaudi, piazza dei Cinquecento, via Cavour, piazza dell’Esquilino, via Liberiana, piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, via Merulana, via Labicana, piazza del Colosseo, via Celio Vibenna, via di San Gregorio, piazza di Porta Capena .
I start at 1pm of the closure of Piazza della Repubblica, in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, and Viale Luigi Einaudi. At 1.30 pm arrival of the floats in Viale Luigi Einaudi and concentration of participants in Piazza della Repubblica.
The participants arrive at 2pm, at 4.30 pm departure of the procession and relative closure of the route concerned. At 7pm arrival of the procession and gradual reopening to traffic of the streets involved in the event. At 8pm End of the event and complete reopening of the road axes.
Parking bans are foreseen, as well as at the starting and arrival points of the event, also on via Enrico De Nicola (from via Solferino to via Einaudi), via Liberiana and via delle Terme di Diocleziano. Parking bans also on Via Cavour, in the stretch between Via Giolitti and Piazza dell’Esquilino.
Regarding public transport from 1pm expected changes for them lines of public transport 3L, 5, 14, 16, 38, 40, 51, 60, 64, 66, 70, 71, 75, 81, 82, 85, 87, 90, 92, 105, 117, 118, 160, 170, 223, 310, 360, 590, 628, 649, 714, 910, H, C2,C3.
After the passage of the Mille Miglia, Via Veneto will remain closed also throughout the day on Saturday, and until 5 on Sunday morning, again between Porta Pinciana and via Boncompagni, to host an event linked to the film award “The Golden Film”. Bus lines C3 – 52 – 53 – 61 – 100 – 160 – 590 – nMA – n201 will be diverted.
Always on Saturday, from 6pm to 8pm, parking bans on Piazza Santi Apostoli for the demonstration of the association “Woman, Life and Freedom“, in support of the Iranian people.
“La Prima Festa” will be staged on Sunday 16th in Capannelle. For the occasion free shuttles from Subaugusta metro A to the Capannelle racecourse. There meter A will remain open in an extraordinary way until 1:30 am.
TO Hostin via delle Baleniere, socio-cultural event. The road will be closed between numbers 2 and 137 and bus lines 04, C4, C13 and C19 will be diverted onto viale Vasco de Gama, via dei Velieri and via Isole del Cape Verde, not making six stops on via delle Baleniere.
