New agreement between the Prefecture, Confcommercio and Confesercenti to guarantee greater safety for shops and companies

The protocol for legality and security regarding the anti-robbery video alarm system for companies and shops in the Varesotto area was signed yesterday. The agreement, signed in the rooms of the Prefecture of Varese, involves the Prefect of Varese, the provincial president of Confcommercio and the territorial president of Confesercenti, with the presence of the top brass of the police forces.

This protocol aims to guarantee a high level of protection for businesses and businesses in the area, through the direct connection of video alarm systems with the operations rooms of the police force. In the event of thefts or robberies, it will be possible to receive reports and images in real time, allowing an immediate response.

During the meeting, the Prefect Salvatore Rosario Pasquariello announced the forthcoming establishment of a control room in the Prefecture, composed of representatives of the police forces and traders’ associations. This body will ensure more effective connections between businesses and the police force.

At the same time, awareness actions will be launched for the installation of passive defense systems, such as video surveillance, with the hope of obtaining financial support from other bodies. Prefect Pasquariello expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of collaboration with traders’ associations, underlining that the agreement responds to the safety needs of the sector through a plan that expands surveillance activities and offers greater protection tools, especially in the evening hours and nocturnal.
