Mager: ‘Sanremo Casino, a point of reference for tourism and culture’

Last day of the electoral campaign, today 21 June. Following the silence on Saturday, the ballot, scheduled from Sunday until 3pm on Monday afternoon, from which the name of the new mayor of Sanremo, and therefore of Alberto Biancheri’s successor, will emerge. After having accepted the appeal of the candidate Gianni Rolando, it is now the turn of Alessandro Mager (civic lists Sanremo at the center, Anima Mager mayor, Forum Sanremo and Idea Sanremo) and which in recent days has obtained public support from former mayoral candidate Fulvio Fellegara.
Focusing on the Casino theme, as requested by Gioconews.it, Mager underlines: “The good functioning of the Sanremo Gaming House is central to the city’s economy. We are determined to make it not only a place of entertainment, but also a point of reference for tourism and culture.

We believe that the Casino needs it reaffirm the centrality of the gaming sector, also continuing the generational turnover already started and intervening on the workforce to optimize human resources. The game must become one of the cornerstones of Sanremo’s tourist offer, enriched with experiences in the city and gastronomic, cultural and sporting entertainment events”.
But not only that: “At the same time, it will be essential focus on new forms of profitability to ensure that the gaming house returns to being the jewel in the crown of Sanremo tourism. This will also require interventions on the cultural offer and greater interaction with the City’s proposals, and vice versa”.

Mager assures that “the Sanremo Casino will be enhanced throughout the year also as a venue for business meetings and product launches by national and international companies, involving the city’s hotel network and services for an integrated, quality offer.
We believe it is necessary to internalize management and administration services to improve the quality of the service and reduce costs related to external consultancy. The excellent work carried out in recent years also thanks to the collaboration of workers and trade unions requires continuity also to continue the path already undertaken, but certainly to be completed, of valorising human capital”, he concludes.
