Ungaretti’s poetry and Pirandello’s prose are the protagonists of the themes for the 2024 high school leaving exams. But Rita Levi Montalcini and her “In Praise of Imperfection” will also be among the choices available to graduates, who will also be able to choose to deal with themes more contemporary, such as the transformation of diary writing, between “Profiles, selfies and blogs”, through the inspiration offered by a contribution by Maurizio Caminito.

The last inspiration is taken from Rediscovering the silence of Nicoletta Polla-Mattiotand invites us to reflect on the value of silence in an increasingly noisy and frenetic world.
For the typology Ccritical reflection of character expository-argumentative on current issues, the ideas offered by “In Praise of Imperfection” by Rita Levi-Montalciniwhich invites us to valorise imperfection as a stimulus to growth and improvement and from “Profiles, selfies and blogs” by Maurizio Caminitowhere the author analyzes the change in diary writing in the digital age, highlighting the potential and risks of this new form of expression.
