From Friday 21 June, by order of Anas, exits 10 towards Bologna and 10 bis towards Milan of the Pirandello-Carducci ring road will be closed, which allow access to the La Marmora flyover, affected by works to consolidate the road surface of the access ramp towards the suburbs by the Municipality of Modena. The measure is aimed at limiting heavy traffic, exceeding 3.5 tonnes, on the infrastructure.

Furthermore, to carry out the works, both lanes of the overpass towards the suburbs were closed, with traffic diverted to the left lane of the opposite semi-carriageway. Transit on the infrastructure, therefore, until the works are completed, will be on one lane in each direction.
The intervention, worth approximately 170 thousand euros, was made necessary due to a recent failure of the embankment at the connection point with the deck, which led to the creation of a small step between the ramp and the overpass itself. The latter, recently subject to resurfacing works, does not present any problems.
The works, carried out by the Public Works sector of the Municipality of Modena as part of the extraordinary maintenance framework contract, will start following a geological investigation and planning of the intervention by the appointed company, and will last approximately one month and half.
