Over 100 participants, activities for parents and students, focus on personal aptitudes, world of work and training offers, dozens of questions and useful information. This is the outcome of the first stage of Orientamenti Summer which took place in the Leonardo Lagorio civic library in Imperia.
The event, created by the Liguria Region to support children in choosing a post-middle school training path, started from the Ponentine capital for the first of nine meetings planned throughout the Ligurian territory.
The event and the Ligurian tour were organized by the regional councilor for Training and Orientation Marco Scajola who states: “A huge success for a first stage full of useful content for the participants, but also for us administrators. Seeing over one hundred people, including parents and children, following our experts, asking questions and considerations is certainly a source of satisfaction and testifies to the quality of the proposed event. We have provided, free of charge, a general overview of the higher education offering in the province in a streamlined and effective manner. We start from Imperia to symbolically cross our entire region including the hinterland with the aim of helping as many people as possible. Orientations is a continuously growing container that never stops – adds Scajola -. This school year we have been constantly close to children and their parents with events and webinars that have involved thousands of people. We want to confirm ourselves, appointment after appointment, as a point of reference for Ligurian kids, guiding them in present and future choices with the belief that they are not boxes to fill, but torches to light”.
