The final appointment for an exciting journey has arrived in Forlì. On June 9th in a packed Sala Sangiorgi, the curtain rose for the students of the course “Forlì: a social music” organized by No.Vi.Art within the “Fabbrica 2.0” call. After just eight meetings, the young musicians managed to share the gift of their harmony with the spectators, thanks to a fresh and agile program in which they demonstrated the harmony and joy of playing together.

On Sunday 23 June, the teachers will perform at the Fabbrica delle Candele in Forlì in viale Salinatore 30 (9pm): Gioele Sindona (violin) and Giuseppe Zanca (trumpet), together with Tiziano Paganelli (accordion), Fabrizio Flisi on piano and Gianluca Nanni (drums).

Their concert, entitled “Music of the people: music of the community”, resumes and completes the journey through “social music”, a definition that No.Vi.Art took from the great protagonists of twentieth-century jazz music and in particular from Charles Mingus. Ranging from jazz to swing to traditional music to improvisation, the teachers suggest an original approach: Sindona and Zanca have in fact also demonstrated to the young students how ensemble music, despite the commitment and application it requires, entertains and manages at the same time to enhance individual qualities and talents, but also to encourage dialogue and understanding between the members of an ensemble, regardless of age, different formations, distinct paths.

The Mediterranean with the charm of its music will be at the center of the repertoire of the evening of June 23rd, with many surprises! Free admission. The event on June 23rd is also organized in collaboration with the Diego Fabbri Center of Forlì and with Cosa Scuola Music Academy. Free. Info: 349 0542645.
