CARPI – The rich season of summer festivals organized by the parishes of the Diocese of Carpi begins. At the center of these community celebrations is the religious program with moments of prayer dedicated in particular to the Virgin Mary and the Patron Saints. There is no shortage of food stands, shows, recreational events and solidarity initiatives, which, created with the decisive contribution of local volunteers and groups, aim to offer meeting opportunities to increase sharing and brotherhood.

Among the events of this weekend in the parish of San Giuseppe Artigiano, Saturday 22 June, at 5pm car show in the churchyard; the restaurant opens at 8pm; at 9.30pm evening of musical entertainment with percussion directed by Luca Torreggiani. Sunday 23rd, at 11am Holy Mass in memory of two unforgettable parish priests, Don Lino Galavotti and Don Nardino Burzacchini; the restaurant opens at 8pm; at 9.30pm Campfire with the scouts of the Agesci Carpi 3 group. A novelty of the 2024 edition will be on Friday 28 June, from 7.30pm the typical Salento dinner (by reservation only on 370 3784027) followed by Apulian dances and songs with the Sud In group I sing.

42nd Festival in honor of Mary Mother of God

At the parish of Sant’Agata Cibeno this weekend, Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June, the restaurant will be open from 7.30pm (reservation is recommended 335 619 6526 – 334 264 7712, send whatsapp messages or call from 4pm to 20) together at the bar. Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd, from 8.30pm “Riverfest” pub brewery, beers, drinks and snacks and every evening live music and DJ sets. On Sunday 23rd, the parish community will pray in particular for the elderly and the sick: during the Holy Masses at 8.30 and 10 am, in honor of Mary Most Holy “health of the sick”, the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be administered. Also on Sunday 23rd, at 9.30pm musical show “W Il Pulcino d’Oro. 25 years (and not feeling it) of success.”
