Published by De Ferrari and included in the series of Notebooks of the Genoa Foundation, the volume presented this afternoon is enriched by illustrations by Marco Montaruli and tells the period of Genoa’s history between 1914 and 1925, with an engaging style and a wealth of new details. This is the golden age of the great Genoa of “mister” William Garbutt and Renzo De Vecchi, to arrive at that of Edoardo Catto and Giovanni De Prà. As the press release indicates, the volume narrates the events of the two controversial championships 1914/1915 and 1924/1925, the South American tour of 1923 and, naturally, the championships won by the Grifone in 1915, 1923 and 1924.
