A maxi nursery
The ongoing intervention in the structure in via Tagliamento consists of the functional redevelopment of the area, for a loan of over 1 million euros. Interventions are underway aimed at bringing greater functional quality to the various environments, to encourage flexibility in the use of spaces with innovative solutions in the choice of materials and the achievement of high technological performance from the point of view of energy efficiency. At the end of the work the nursery will be able to accommodate around 70 childrenan important number that will increase the number of places in the Varese nursery schools so that we can absorb all the demand of the Varese families.
Municipal services
Going into the merits of the data, Councilor Dimaggio explained that the number of students enrolled in after-school programs increased by almost 25%. municipal. Sport after school
Another service introduced on an experimental basis in the school year that has just ended, and which will also be offered again in the next one, is sporting activity during after-school activities. In this case, in 2024/2025 there will be almost 200 hours in which children from various after-school clubs will be engaged in multidisciplinary sports. This is an additional activity that the Municipality wanted to introduce together with the other projects already present in the municipal after-school activities, managed this year by Educational Team. Those enrolled in the municipal educational services are involved by the educators in artistic-expressive workshops, recreational-theatrical and dramatization activities, trips to the area, initiatives to discover the history of Varese and moments of play.
The numbers of the canteen
The numbers are also confirmed registered in the canteen curricular: 2500 boys and girls. The special transport service continues which connects the locations furthest from the city’s schools, in this case there are 205 registered students.
