The director of the Institute Villa D’Este and Villa Adrianaas well as artistic director of Extravillae Andrea Bruciati spoke on the sidelines of the press conference presenting the event to our microphones: “The news is that the Festival belongs to the entire institute, it involves all its branches and this has never happened before. The program is very complex and goes beyond the screenings, but brings together all the visual arts. From theatre, to the presentation of great guests, to literature, obviously to cinema and performances. It will be a forge and a cultural construction site. There will be great guests, from Carlo Verdone to Laura Morante, Edoardo Leo and Tognazzi. What I think is important is that every evening will be a unique event, a gift that we give to the entire territory.”

Tivoli – ExtraVillae starts on June 23rd, with guests Carlo Verdone and Edoardo Leo: the complete program

Also on call Urbano Barberini, artistic director of the theater section: “It will be a reintroduction of theater into places that are perfect for making theatre. Any show inside Villa Adriana, Villa D’Este or the Sanctuary of Hercules Victor is more beautiful. Simply because beauty nourishes each other. Seeing a film, a show, a concert at this extraordinary festival is different from seeing it anywhere else. On 9, 10 and 11 July, in the cloister of Villa D’Este, there will be three amazing and entertaining shows that are also free. It will be an unmissable opportunity.”
