ANCONA – Ecological appointment Plastic Free in the Archi district with a market dedicated to organic and eco-sustainable products with a strong synergy with other local businesses. The meeting point will be in Piazza del Crocifisso Saturday 22 June starting from 9 am and the clean up activity will last about a couple of hours. Ancona, Municipality Plastic Free 2024, will experience a special clean up next Saturday together with the Plastic Free Association, L’ Altro Mercatino degli Archi and Slow Food Ancona and Conero, with a great synergy in the name of sustainability. The Archi neighborhood of Ancona becomes the ideal place for this event, as every Saturday morning this neighborhood is transformed into a lively market of organic and ecological products. Under the porticoes of the Archi, a magical atmosphere is created: citizens chatting, joking, inviting each other to drink a coffee and establishing beautiful relationships.
L’Altro Mercatino is the point of reference for finding small producers from the Marche region who follow the principles of Slow Food. During the event, representatives of Slow Food Ancona and Conero will be present, ready to offer valuable advice for healthy and sustainable shopping. The Plastic Free Association has been committed to protecting the environment for years with cleaning events in cities, beaches, parks and rivers and comes to this event in the city after similar events in the Piano district (Piazza d’Armi, Corso Carlo Alberto ) and the Passetto area.
