BARI – As part of the 2024 Festa del Mare programme, from 28 to 30 June the city of Bari will host the three opening evenings of the Locus festival with big names in Italian and international music: Friday 28 June Calcutta (Fiera del Levante spaces ), Saturday 29 June Salmo & Noyz (roundabout via Paolo Pinto) and Sunday 30 June Simple Minds (roundabout via Paolo Pinto). An extraordinary program that involves different generations and looks at different musical tastes.
To allow the assembly and disassembly operations of the stage and the execution of the further planned set-ups, the local police, with a specific order, from 05.00 on 20 June to 24.00 on 2 July (and, in any case, until the end of the requirements), has ordered the “no stopping” and the “No passing” on Piazzale Vittorio Emanuele IIIthe roundabout corresponding to the monumental entrance of the Fiera del Levante, on via Paolo Pinto.
Festa del Mare is the unique summer program in Bari promoted by the Puglia Region – Department of Tourism with Pugliapromozione and Teatro Pubblico Pugliese – Regional Consortium for Arts and Culture using POC Puglia 2014/20 funds Axis VI – Action 6.8 in collaboration with the Municipality of Bari – Department of Culture and Tourism. Also for this seventh edition (2024) the event brings together Locus Festival, Bari in Jazz, Bari Piano Festival and Premio Nino Rota.
