An exceptional day, that of last Sunday, for the Croce Italia Comuni di Pianura. In the presence of the mayors of the territory (Alessandro Poluzzi for San Pietro, Massimiliano Vogli for Malalbergo, Stefano Zanni for Galliera, Paolo Crescimbeni for San Giorgiodi Piano and Luca Vignoli for Castel Maggiore) the rescue association was able to inaugurate and cut the ribbon, for two new vehicles that will be available to the vast territory.

Specifically, it is an ambulance (dedicated to Monica Amidei) for emergencies and first aid and an equipped vehicle that will be managed by Civil Protection volunteers. Also present were the agents of the local police Reno Galliera, the Carabinieri and the firefighters of the San Pietro in Casale detachment. Among the many present, also many citizens, the parish priest Don Marco who blessed the two new vehicles.

Thus the mayor of San Pietro, Alessandro Poluzzi: “On Sunday morning we inaugurated an ambulance and a civil protection vehicle of Croce Italia Comuni di Pianura. We were there, as mayors, to thank those who are inside that ambulance or that rescue vehicle, that is, volunteers, an invaluable asset of our territory. Throughout the territory of the Reno Galliera Union we are fortunate to have hundreds of volunteers who invest their time in serving the community. Only thanks to them are we able, in emergency situations, together with the police, to give a prompt and efficient response to citizens”.
