An entrance ticket to the Royal Villa of Marlia and an aperitif on the lake shore. The initiatives of the 9 companies of the LU.ME. Lucca metalmeccanica project (A. Celli Group, Fapim, Fosber, Gambini, KME Italy, Valmet Tissue Converting, RotorkFluid Systems, Sampi and Toscotec) continue together with Confindustria Toscana Nord. The purpose of the LU.ME. project, born in 2013, is in fact to create a system, conceive, design and implement activities of concrete utility and effectiveness for all citizens of the province, aimed at promoting the development of the territory.
From the collection and distribution of over 500 kilograms of tissue paper to schools and nursing homes in the area and materials for associations, to the suspended gifts with Caritas, to the initiatives for the 3,000 employees of the 9 participating companies, such as Lumeteca, the drawing of 400 tickets for cultural events, to the collections of books for girls and boys in nursery schools and in the pediatric departments of hospitals and to the school orientation initiatives for young people: there are numerous activities carried out by the handful of companies with a new idea of cooperation in mind.
The drawing of 18 tickets for “Aperitivando”, the event at Villa Reale di Marlia, is one of those opportunities to enjoy beauty and art that companies wanted to make available to their employees. So, Friday 28 June at sunset in the park of the villa between cocktails and bubbles, background music and colored blankets, was a special evening for the lucky winners of the tickets, as will be those of the Summer Festival and the days of Lucca Comics and Games that other employees of the 9 companies will be able to enjoy.
