The project of the Eridano Social Cooperative of Brindisi CONTROVENTO is increasingly important and ambitious, to respond to the needs of people with disabilities and the concept of inclusion.
The Eridano Social Cooperative of Brindisi has always dealt with the serious problems of the disabled, those who suffer, those who need a lot of care, affection and attention.
A path made up of projects and initiatives, also shared with other entities, in the world of volunteering and associations, which aims to enhance the indispensable and fundamental concept of inclusion.
Like “Controvento – the strength of sailing”, a project supported by INTESA SANPAOLO through the Formula Program and created in collaboration with the Cesvi Foundation. A project, strongly supported by President Francesco Parisi and the Cooperative, already underway, which will allow, within a year, the organization of sailing courses with around 80 children with even serious disabilities.
Now there is the PUBLIC NOTICE for the selection of Sailing Instructors, and it is written in the announcement: “the Third Sector has an increasingly important role in our society in dealing with emergencies, social and cultural problems, investing in research and growth, listening and proposing solutions to increasingly improve the quality of life of each”.
The project has some essential points: the provision of specific training to sailing instructors (for the approach to serious physical, mental and sensorial disabilities), of basic training for the practice of sailing to 12 experts in the psycho-social educational area (educators, psychologists, social workers), the provision of a sailing course for 85 people with different types of disabilities.
Applications for participation must be received on the attached form by the peremptory deadline of 12.00 on 30/06/2024 to the email address [email protected] or delivered by hand to the administrative headquarters of Eridano in via Betlemme, 6 a Toasts.
