Very hot hours in the Lecce political landscape. There are just a few days left until the ballot and the sides continue to clash on everything.

Councilor Alessandro Delli Noci reports receiving hateful, offensive and defamatory messages on social media on a daily basis and, for a few days, also threats through private messages, of which he has informed the competent authorities.
The centre-right expresses solidarity with Delli Noci and invites him to report the threats he has suffered to the public prosecutor’s office without any delay so that the perpetrators can be promptly identified and punished. The side led by Adriana Poli Bortone turns to the opposing side asking for respect. “We are certainly not the ones who unleash the hunt for the mayor or the assault on other people’s positions.”
Fiery climate
But the climate remains very heated with the centre-right accusing the centre-left for a photo deemed “shameful”.
