L’ANMIL (National Association of Mutilated and Invalid Workers) of Reggio Calabria is renewed after the work of the province of Reggio Calabria, the territorial council that will accompany the activities of the ANMIL, in collaboration with the institutions and major entities present locally, is composed as follows:
• Territorial President, Fortunato Lipari
• Territorial Vice President Francesco Costantino, national councilor and president of the Anmil foundation, let’s support them immediately
• Territorial councilors, Benedetto Demetrio, Demoro Francesco, Mallamaci Domenico, Musmeci Giuseppe, Rulli Domenico.
Among the various activities that the new association management in the province of Reggio Calabria is organizing, the 74th National Day for Victims of Accidents at Work – institutionalized with Prime Ministerial Decree in ’98 – represents the most important annual event in memory of victims of work and to underline how fundamental it is to put safety at work first, the lack of which causes accidents and occupational diseases that are always avoidable and predictable.
“Today, like yesterday, it is not acceptable to die from work – declares the President of ANMIL of Reggio Calabria – but from the numbers that emerge from INAIL data it seems that nothing changes despite technology, awareness and stringent regulations. Therefore, as territorial ANMIL President, in common agreement with the Council, I will work with all my strength to ensure that precise and strategic actions are put into practice that are able to impact on a phenomenon that is too underestimated but which has a strong impact on the country, such as poor security. in the workplace, and on the increasingly reduced and unfair protections for those who get injured or contract an occupational disease”.
