Abnormal heat will appear across the region in the next few days. Temperatures will exceed 5-6 degrees compared to seasonal values.
The instability of recent weeks is just a sad memory. L’summer and the heat have finally taken over. So far, of course, it seems like good news. In reality, however, this is not exactly the case given that an anomalous heat wave is expected throughout the region.
So until the end of the week Campania, as in many other areas of the Bel Paese, temperatures will be above normal, which will create more than a few inconveniences for citizens. In short, in these cases it is best to take all the information precautions, especially for those who are not lucky enough to be able to cool off a bit at the seaside or in some mountain resort. Those who remain in the city will necessarily have to preserve themselves.
In general however the Functional Center of the Civil Protection of the Campania Region by virtue of the situation that is emerging, it has issued a warning of criticality for “heat waves”. Here are all the details on the matter.
What should be the hottest days
It starts from 2.00 pm on Wednesday 19 June and will continue for approximately 66 hours. Therefore at least until Saturday the situation must be considered critical. On Thursday 20 and Friday 21 June 2024, temperatures may be approximately 5-6 degrees higher than the seasonal average values.
If to this we also add the humidity rate which, especially in the evening and night hours in conditions of poor ventilation, can even reach 60%-70%, the picture is even more catastrophic.

For this reason above all elderly people and children they should avoid any type of movement during the hottest hours. Walking under the scorching sun could prove counterproductive. Better to take precautions and then go out when the sun goes down or directly in the evening, or in a phase of the day that should give you at least a little respite.
This of course is only the first of a long series heat waves since summer has just begun. For this reason it would be advisable to equip ourselves with means capable of guaranteeing some freshness and the recirculation of air in home environments. In any case it is good to always follow the bulletins of the Civil protection and gods meteorologists, in such a way as to always have the situation under control and have the necessary time to take all possible countermeasures.
