Registrations open for the school camp organized in Bonefro, from 7 to 13 July, by the Avis Civil Protection section “Carlo Michele Ricciardelli” which, after the successes of the previous editions, has also been selected this year for the creation of a school camp of the project national “I too am Civil Protection” organized by the Department of Civil Protection, in collaboration with the Regions and national and local civil protection volunteer organisations. A training and information project now in its fourteenth edition which includes a one-week educational journey aimed at spreading risk awareness among children, knowledge of the entire Civil Protection System as well as the importance of volunteering through theoretical and practical exercises. On the program there are lessons on the civil protection system (knowledge and prevention of risks in the event of calamitous events such as earthquakes, floods or fires); simulations and research (lessons and simulations on first aid and BLS-D techniques, simulation of searching for the missing and injured with the use of emergency radio and ambulance systems); themed games (group games on good civil protection rules, table football and table tennis tournaments, much more).
