An afternoon of dance to give hope, to give a smile, to support an important project. This is the deepest meaning of the planned initiative Saturday 29 June 2024, starting from 2.30 pm, in the setting of the PalaSestopromoted by the Wild Angels Country Dance association, with the collaboration of the Municipality of Sesto San Giovanni.
On that date, in fact, there will be a fun and supportive event: a fundraiser in favor of the Il Sorriso nel cuore Odv association, at the pace of country dance. Professional dancers, lovers of the genre, DJs, will meet at the PalaSesto to try to support the great work of the Smile in the Heart.
The entire proceeds of the day will be donated to the purchase of new wigs and bandanas for the association’s Rehabilitation Aesthetics Service. Important measures that aim to preserve the person’s image at a time when it is the first to vanish.
“The importance of charitable events like this lies not only in the admirable goal of raising funds, but also in the powerful message of community and humanity they convey – explains mayor Roberto Di Stefano – participating in this initiative means not only contributing concretely to an important project, but also sharing a moment of union and hope, offering a smile and comfort to those who need it most.
Our commitment as a community must be to support and promote such initiatives, which embody the highest values of our living together: solidarity, welcome and inclusion. I invite you all to take part in this party, to dance for a noble cause and to demonstrate, once again, the great heart of Sesto San Giovanni”.
He also joins the mayor’s invitation the President of the consultative association Salvatore Romano which reminds us of the importance of the solidarity event.
“This event serves to do good – declares Romano – With the funds raised, in fact, we will be able to give a concrete hand to people undergoing chemotherapy. I invite everyone to participate in this wonderful show.”
