With the continuation, in the month of June, of the tour of the conference show «Take the moon», Paolo Crepet also returns to the scene in Puglia by popular demand, in three dates organized by Aurora Eventi (in a Charlotte Srl production): the well-known Turin psychiatrist, sociologist, educator, essayist and commentator will be on stage Tuesday 18 June, at 9pmto the Acaya Castle in Vernole (Lecce), Wednesday 19 June, at 9pmat Quarries of Fantiano in Grottaglie (Taranto) e Thursday 20 June in Trani, in Piazza Duomo. The tickets are on sale on ticketone.itand in all points of sale of the Ticket One circuit. Infotel: 328.351.94.02.

The show, which is inspired by the book of the same name published by Mondadori, continues its extensive tour, after the success of the last events, which were sold out everywhere. «I meet a lot of people, and I wonder what they could want from me», says Crepet. «Certainly a guide, a hope, perhaps even a light that lights the hearts of young and old. There is thirst and hunger for words, for thoughts. They seek heresy in a codified world. I can only tell them what I have told myself for years throughout my life: “get the moon”. Be ambitious, seek your uniqueness. You have to keep your head high and keep dreaming. The danger is in the calm of emotions, in resignation, it is in those who sow sloth and confusion, as if it were the rule of the most up-to-date marketing of existence. Opposing all this is my desire, my mission, the reason why I continue to wander in the squares and theaters. I seek freedom, passion, courage. The rest is boredom.”

In «Get the Moon» Paolo Crepet deals with the topics dearest to him, such as education, school and family, with a clear intent: to provide a tool to orient oneself beyond the blanket of clouds that obscure the moon, or hope. This is why he tells young people (and even those who are no longer young) to take the moon. «”Take the moon” – continues the sociologist – is not advice, but a suggestion. It is not only valid in difficult moments, but also in those of joy, or when one tends more towards resignation than exaltation. The moon is there on purpose, it disappears and reappears: precisely because if it were always there, it would be trivial. It works like longing, which involves looking for stars just when they aren’t there, or you fear they are hidden somewhere in the universe. Today more than ever we are captured by the present and have made do with it, perhaps terrified of what could be upon us or out of satiety with what we possess.”
