From 19 June 2024, it is also possible to obtain the National Identification Code (CIN) in Abruzzo for accommodation facilities and properties intended for short-term rental, adhering to the experimental phase of the national database of accommodation facilities (BDSR).

After Puglia and Veneto, Abruzzo joins the projectwith further Regions and Autonomous Provinces to follow in the coming weeks.

Abruzzo is an ideal destination for a holiday in contact with nature. The region boasts several landscapes: from the Gran Sasso to the Greater Plateaus, from the Maiella to the Laga forests. Furthermore, 25 villages have obtained recognition as the most beautiful villages in Italy.

With the introduction of the experimental phase, also in this region it will be possible to obtain the National Identification Code (CIN) for accommodation facilities and properties intended for short-term rental

Request for National Identification Code (CIN)

Via the Minister’s online platformor, owners can request the CIN, necessary for the publication of advertisements and for display outside the structures and buildings, pursuant to art. 13-ter of legislative decree no. 145/2023.

By logging in via digital identity, owners can view the data relating to the structures linked to their Fiscal Code, integrate missing information, report any changes and obtain the CIN.

Period of adjustment and application of sanctions

During the experimental phase there are no sanctionsFurthermore, citizens who wish can comply with the obligations related to the identification code well in advance.

The sanctions, obligations and other provisions contained in the art. 13-ter of legislative decree no. 145/2023 will only apply starting from the sixtieth day after the publication in the Official Journal of the Notice proving the entry into operation of the BDSR on a national scale. The latter is expected no later than September 1, 2024.
