At least this is the substance of the complaint received by MBNews from Emanuel Fiorino, 35 years old, resident in Sant’Alessandro since 2017 and father of a 3 year old boy. Who, despite the naivety typical of his age, attends almost every day playground in via san Rocco where it has to deal with a widespread state of decay.

“Three years ago in an article published on your site you talked about redevelopment of public park in via San Rocco between internal pedestrian paths and play area – says Emanuel, who works as a manager for a restaurant company – in a short time we went from redevelopment to complete lack of cleanliness and supervision by the competent bodies”.

The young father’s attention focuses in particular on the public areas around the kindergartens between Sant’Alessandro and San Rocco. In particular on the playground in via San Rocco, the one in front of a pharmacy and a tobacconist’s bar.
“For me it is a daily destination after I pick up my son, who turns three in May, from nursery, as he wants to go there to playing with kindergarten classmates – he explains – but the situation of the playground is truly degraded and dirty beyond the tolerance limit for parents who regularly pay the municipal taxes and they would like a clean place where our children can play.”

THE PERSPECTIVES
The situation of degradation and dirt in the area of San Rocco and Sant’Alessandro, despite the fact that the municipal council has recently approved a Sustainable Urban Development project focused on soft mobility and the enhancement of green spaces, is not new. “I hope that raising the issue publicly, whoever is competent will begin to consider the playground in Via San Rocco as the other green areas dedicated to children in the municipal area are considered” is Emanuel’s wish.
