On Sunday 30 June, Lake Como Orchid Show returns to Vallassina, the market exhibition dedicated to orchids now in its third edition and organized by Asso Incontra in collaboration with ALAO – Associazione Lombarda Amatori Orchidee. This edition is characterized by a new location as it will be held in Magreglio at the Il Ghisallino Restaurant and will be open from 10am to 6pm with free entry.

There will be several exhibitors at national and international level as well as amateur associations. For the first time in northern Italy there will be a seller directly from Ecuador specializing in local plants, from the Andes to San Primo. During the event, training events will be held and there will be an opportunity to ask experts for advice on how to take care of these plants. It should be noted that orchids from a rare family whose flowers resemble tulips will be on display: the Anguloa species originating from Central America.

Like last year, the “Dream Flower” competition is being proposed again: bring your orchid to the exhibition even if it has grown on the windowsill or balcony. We want to reward the blooms of orchid enthusiasts, because a beautiful bloom is always a joy to share. All those received will be judged by expert judges and the most beautiful will receive a prize. To enrich the exhibition, the artist Alex Fumagalli and the Asso Incontra stand will be present with his books “Asso Medievale” and “Asso, the places and the stories”. For more information visit the Asso Incontra page and the website www.lakecomoorchidshow .com to discover all the exhibitors present.
