Uniurb: registrations open. Among the new features is the total exemption from taxes with ISEEU up to 30 thousand euros

During the press conference, the starting point of Palazzo Bonaventura was also inaugurated

Enrollment at the University of Urbino is now open. The news for students for the 2024-2025 academic year was announced this morning by the deputy rector, Vieri Fusi, during a press conference held in the Aula Magna Rettorato. “The most important,” he explained, “concerns the ISEEU threshold for obtaining total exemption from university fees, which has been raised to 30 thousand euros. We have also brought forward the period for enrollment to July 2. These are two very important elements. The first because it strengthens the right to study, allowing a larger portion of students to obtain total exemption from fees at a time when families are seeing a reduction in their spending capacity. The second because it allows for greater flexibility in carrying out enrollment procedures.”

“We are increasingly an inclusive University,” added the vice-rector for Teaching and Internal and External Communication, Giovanni Boccia Artieri. “This translates into a growing focus on protecting equal access to the highest levels of education and training, regardless of the entry situation of our male and female students.”

A milestone that brings Uniurb closer to the most virtuous universities in Italy, as underlined by the general director, Alessandro Perfetto. “We wanted to guarantee greater accessibility to the study path, both in economic terms and in relation to time deadlines. The University of Urbino therefore continues in the direction of greater effectiveness of its services, also through the starting point, which we are inaugurating today at the same time as the opening of registrations”.

Simona Malucelli, head of the Student Secretariat sector, focused on this last aspect: “The starting point set up inside the courtyard of Palazzo Bonaventura and open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm., is a first information desk where you can find information on study orientation, services for the disabled, for students with DSA, on the registration procedures and on the benefits provided. It will also serve to provide more information on scholarships, libraries, housing facilities, refreshment points. Our staff, our tutors and Erdis staff will be available to answer questions and doubts. Furthermore – concludes the manager – we wanted to propose again to students theUniurb Tour (Monday to Friday, at 10 am and 11 am, starting from the starting point in via Saffi 2), which will allow you to get to know the campus city and everything it offers to the training experience in a more direct way”.
