In this case Fratelli d’Italia saw its budget for the year 2023 grow significantly. Last year’s financial year closed with an operating surplus of 4 million and 906 thousand euros, as emerges from the secretary’s management report administrative, Roberto Carlo Mele, which accompanies the financial statements closed on 31 December. The main collection item is the 2×1000 Irpef which allowed Fratelli d’Italia to collect 4 million 807 thousand euros, almost 2 million euros more than the previous year, 2022. Without this item, there are undoubtedly the liberal donations to represent a significant source of revenue for the party. Each Fdi parliamentarian pays a share of one thousand euros every month. This is what Prime Minister Meloni and the ministers Raffaele Fitto, Daniela Santanchè, Luca Ciriani, Francesco Lollobrigida and Adolfo Urso do. But there are those who give higher figures and this is the case of Minister Roccella (32 thousand euros) and other Fdi parliamentarians. The highest contribution is made by Michele Barcaiuolo with 42 thousand euros, the same amount for Paola Maria Chiesa, Marco Scurria and Andrea Volpi. Another 14 ladies pay amounts between 39 thousand and 37 thousand euros. The two women from Rimini are also among the most generous parliamentarians. Senator Mimma Spinelli paid 30 thousand euros to the party in 2023, well over the thousand euros per month given by most parliamentarians. Similarly, the deputy Beatriz Colombo paid 28 thousand, also in this case more than double compared to most of her colleagues.
