More security and video surveillance in the neighborhood of Monterusciello Of Pozzuoli: the municipal council has approved the definitive executive project which provides for the installation of 7 video surveillance stations And license plate reading to be installed in different areas of the territory.
The intervention requires a total expense of 240 thousand euros. The purpose of the system video surveillance is to be able to control some public areas, in particular the area of “600 accommodations” and the main access routes which include the motorway junctions in and out for Monterusciello.
Furthermore, the video surveillance system e license plate reading will have dedicated connections via a fiber optic backbone and point-to-point wireless connections to transmit license plate data and images to the Registry Office and from there to the local police command of the Municipality of Pozzuoli.
“Today the neighborhood is experiencing high levels of crime and acts of vandalism, so it is necessary to develop an adequate system of control of the territory through technological surveillance systems consisting of video cameras and license plate reading and reporting systems, in the most sensitive areas, which have been identified at the access points to the territory and high-risk transit points”we read in the project.
THE 7 points where the video surveillance systems will be positioned are: via Monterusciello, via Modigliani, via Carlo Levi, via O. Rosai, via De Chirico, via Carrà and go Monterusciello.
The cameras will be installed along the access roads to the fraction of Monterusciellowhere in addition to the license plate reading devices there are also context cameras, and in the same training (number plate reading together with the context camera) in the sensitive points of the neighborhood, i.e. at the 600 accommodations.
