Master Championships: 15-16 June

The weekend of 15 and 16 June was a moment of great competition and entertainment for the youth sector of Italian athletics. The Master Championships, enriched by extra open competitions for the absolutes, saw the young athletes show off their talent and determination. Here are the results of some of the races

Women’s 100 Meters Overall

  • Pantoni Annachiara finished the race with a time of 13.95 seconds, demonstrating remarkable speed.
  • Civitano Benedetta recorded a time of 14.17 seconds.
  • Civitano Beatrice finished at 14.16 seconds

100 Meters Overall Men

  • Giammatteo Daniel dominated the race with a time of 11.42 seconds, showing impeccable technique and impressive speed.
  • Abbafati Cristiano followed with a solid 11.67 seconds.

Women’s 400 Meters Overall

  • Ruggiero Sofia completed the 400 meters in 1:09.47, displaying admirable endurance and determination.

200 Meters Overall Men

  • Giammatteo Daniel, already winner of the 100 meters, replicated his excellent performance with a time of 23.11 seconds in the 200 meters.
  • Cipriani Valerio finished the race with a time of 23.49 seconds, demonstrating great speed and competence.

800 Meters Overall Men

  • De Vitis Alessandro finished the race with a time of 2:08.31, showcasing his endurance and strategic ability over long distances.

Bravin Trophy: 15 June

The prestigious Bravin Trophy took place on 15 June in Rome, at the Army sports centre. This event saw the participation of numerous young athletes, who competed with great enthusiasm and commitment.

100 Meters Student

  • Romagnoli Giulia impressed everyone with a time of 13.12 seconds, cementing her position as one of the most promising sprinters.

80 Meters Cadette

  • Candidi Micol dominated the race with a time of 10.17 seconds, demonstrating explosive speed.
  • Slimani Nirmine finished with a time of 11.33 seconds.

400 Meters Cadets

  • Slimani Nirmine, after competing in the 80 meters, also tackled the 400 meters, finishing with a time of 44.49 seconds.

80 Meter Cadets

  • Giammatteo Thomas ran 10.32 seconds, showing excellent physical shape and great speed.

Amateurs: Corri Marino

On June 23rd, the focus shifted to amateurs with the first edition of the “Corri Marino”. Among the participants, Alessio Rossetti stood out with a remarkable performance, taking fifth place in the e_40 category with a time of 46:13. The June competitions highlighted the emerging talent in the youth sector of Italian athletics.
