Patio101, the novelty in Rome to toast the summer

There’s always something exciting about uncorking a bottle of champagne, just like approaching summer. It is therefore no coincidence that a pop up restaurant has just opened its space, inside one of the most exclusive hotels in Rome, for aperitifs and summer dinners by the pool, in collaboration with the champagne house Moët & Chandon.

Patio101is the latest news signed by Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotelthe perfect place to immerse yourself in Roman summer evenings, which captures all the essence ofArt of living of the Capital: a perfect summer postcard, enclosed in the Monte Mario nature reserve with an open glimpse of the Eternal City.

This is a real patio outside the hotel to spend time in the open air starting from sunset, in which the aesthetics reproduce a refined scenography that reflects the Moët & Chandon codes: cushions, umbrellas and all the furnishings of Patio101, with soft colors of white and ocher.

The gastronomic offer

This corner of beauty and relaxation offers a refined but informal food & drink offer, both for a casual aperitif and for an open-air dinner. It is in fact a natural extension of the hotel spaces, in a more relaxed version that offers a great variety of choice on the menu: from the large mix of sushi and sashimi to raw fish, with wild amberjack ceviche without forgetting oysters on ice, sautés and fried foods, to salads in their most creative version with burrata, basil, EVO oil and balsamic vinegar or beetroot and feta with candied pistachio, orange honey sauce and bread croutons.

There is also a selection of the grill, ranging from burgers and slices to chicken without forgetting fish and prawns, while pizza, a true summer must, is available in unexpected variations, such as Prawns with avocado, prawns, cherry tomatoes, paprika and lemon zest or Porchetta and Potatoes.

Finally, the Pastry Chef’s summer desserts Dario Nuti: the Piña Colada Baba, the Peanut, Caramel and Passion Crunchy, the Champagne Glass, Chantilly, Lime and Strawberries or the very fresh Jar of Artisan Ice Cream.

A very fun aspect of Patio101 is that the kitchen and its grill stations and wood-fired oven are exposed, accommodating conviviality.

The drinks menu includes great classics but you can discover and sip, in addition to the Cuvées of Moet et Chandon Reserve Imperial and Moet et Chandon Ice Imperial rosé, also interesting mixology proposals such as the Moët & Chandon Summer Cocktail, in which the Reserve Impérial is expertly mixed with gin, lemon and sugar for a delicate pleasantness on the palate, with a fresh flavour.
