“It’s a historic moment, I met Giuseppe Conte, he made me feel a little tender: Berlusconi got more votes when he was dead than he did when he was alive.” This is one of Beppe Grillo’s “barbs” during a show at the Roman Theater in Fiesole (Florence), the first date of his tour after the European Championships.
Grillo: “I am essential, I don’t know how it will end with him”
The president of the M5S was at the center of several jokes from the creator and founder of the Movement which was born, he said jokingly, “because I wasn’t sleeping, because I have apnea and I wake up”. Conte, Grillo said again, “must understand that I am essential and I don’t know how it will end with him”. Now, he remarked, “it’s no longer the time to shout, it’s Conte’s era, he’s a moderate person. The Movement we created perhaps no longer exists, they say that perhaps we have been vaporised, perhaps that’s the right word. We did some wonderful things.” Analyzing the Italian political situation, Grillo underlined that “we no longer have the psychodwarf”, as he called Silvio Berlusconi, “we have the psychodwarf, with terrible suits and the jackets that Merkel gave him”, he joked when talking about Giorgia Meloni. “I like the psychodwarf, she also has a sense of humour. The joke she made to De Luca was amazing, I would have hugged her. Abstention in elections
