Roma wins, Athlex Pesaro in sixth place

06/18/2024 – The eighth edition of the Forensic Basketball Tournament “Together so we don’t forget” ended in Pesaro. The sporting event brought magistrates and lawyers from all over Italy to the city, who competed in three city gyms for four days.

The tournament, created to honor the memory of the magistrate Fernando Ciampi, the lawyer Lorenzo Claris Appiani and the entrepreneur Giorgio Erba killed on 9 April 2015 in the Palace of Justice in Milan, saw the participation of twelve teams, one of which came from Germany.

The winner of this edition of “Together not to forget” was Fortitudo Iuris Roma, which defeated Santa Maria Capua Vetere 82 to 67 in the final held in the Baia Flaminia gym. Third place went to Germany, which got the better of Milano Legal Team. The home team Athlex Pesaro coached by Lorenzo Longoni performed well, finishing the tournament in sixth place.

On Sunday, at the end of the finals, there was room for the awards ceremony, which saw the participation of the Fip Regional Councilor Francesco Pazzaglia. The conference focused on the relationship between law and sport, entitled “Sports Therapy”, was attended at the Salone Metaurense of Palazzo Ducale, in which the Fip Regional Councilor Walter Magnifico took part.
