Marsala – From 2 to 8 June, four teachers from the “Cavour Mazzini” Comprehensive Institute of Marsala participated in a training experience in Berlin as part of the Erasmus Plus program. This opportunity, centered on social-emotional learning, represented an important stage for the internationalization of the school and the professional development of its teachers.
The teachers Nadia Casertano, Alessandro Lombardo, Rossella Lombardo and Patrizia Nizza, under the guidance of the Rector Anna Lisa Giacalone, took this growth opportunity to enrich their teaching skills. The main objective of the course was to delve into the methodologies and practices of social-emotional learning, a crucial aspect for the integral development of students.
The training program in Berlin offered a variety of activities and workshops, focused on topics such as
empathy and emotion management, effective communication, conflict resolution, collaboration and teamwork.
The four teachers participated with enthusiasm, bringing home not only new knowledge and tools, but also a renewed spirit of collaboration and teaching innovation.
Participation in this training course is a clear signal of the commitment of the IC “Cavour Mazzini” in promoting the internationalization and continuous updating of its teaching staff.
