The conference ‘The stadium, an urban phenomenon and a work of architecture’ was held this afternoon and among the speakers there was also the president of Catanzaro Floriano Notowho had his say on local systems: “I believe that implementing a new stadium outside the city would be the best solution – we read above calciocatanzaro.it -. Over the years, various sports and football regulations have changed. Previously, the approval rules only concerned the inside of the gaming facility. After some vicissitudes they broadened their horizons to include everything outside. From the flow spaces to the accesses and turnstiles we have a limited number and this year we were forced to open some at our expense. A stadium outside the city would allow us much more access and thus the waiting times would be greatly diluted.”
Concluding note, on the renovation of the ‘Ceravolo’, which the mayor of the Calabrian city Nicola Fiorita also spoke about: “Where the stadium is now I could clearly see the sports center. In this way the entire city could benefit, especially local traders. We have ten teams and over 300 people who would travel every day. The sports center serving the community would be an incentive for the commercial activities of the neighborhood if it were usable seven days a week”.
