Gambero Rosso: Le Coin di Saint-Christophe awarded the “Three Breads”. As happens, for example, with wines (Three glasses), restaurants (Three forks) and bars (Three cups), bakers also have their space and recognition from the Gambero Rosso Guide.

The sixth edition of the Gambero Rosso Guide “Breads and Bakers of Italy” is a tribute to artisans, capable of dealing with a constantly evolving market and creators of increasingly authentic baked products.

Three loaves

Black bread is the symbol of Aosta Valley bread-making: there are five insignia in the Guide, among which an excellence that has earned the Three Breads stands out. It’s about Le Coin du Pain di Saint-Christophe by Christian Trione and his wife Ernesta Léger. Year after year their proposal ranges from sweet to savory, always with an eye to sustainability expressed in the seasonality and territoriality of the ingredients and in the attention to energy values.

Bread and Bakers of Italy 2025 is a precious compass for lovers of good bread, discovering artisan bakers who every day, with passion and dedication, bring a piece of Italy to our tables. From North to South the whole geography is well represented with i Three Loaves which grow homogeneously along the entire boot: 64 with 6 new entries. Among the new excellences, Lazio stands out with two new entries, followed by Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Campania, Puglia and Sardinia which boast a new entry each, testifying to the liveliness of the regional panorama.
