It ends with a near podium on the occasion of 23rd “City of Lucca” Tournament the season of Under 13 of Alessandro Mostardi, who in the three days under the walls finished in fourth place, seeing the bronze medal fade away: 64-65 in the final against Valdelsa Basket, who thus climbed to the third step of the podium.
The hosts Bcl Lucca won the event, reaching the final against Pallacanestro Prato Dragons, while in fifth to eighth place were Don Bosco Livorno, Union Basket, Bellaria Cappuccini and Juve Pontedera respectively.
The yellow and blue, placed in group A with Juve Pontedera, Union Basket and Bcl Lucca, won the first two qualifying matches against Union and Pontedera, and then surrendered to the home team in the match which earned them access to the final. From here, therefore, the arrival to the 3/4 place final, then won by Valdelsa Basket at the end of forty minutes decided only by the buzzer.
