It is a decision determined by careful and decisive political reflection which allows us to face the future with the certainty of the serenity of democratic confrontation”. Terenziano Di Stefano has already received the support of Filippo Franzone’s entourage. Also in this case it is a political agreement, given that the list of the former mayoral candidate did not pass the 5% threshold. Meanwhile, yesterday at 4pm, the deadlines for making technical agreements expired, therefore, between Miguel Donegani and Terenziano Di Stefano. The hypothesis had been examined, without results.
“There were meetings and conversations between me and Di Stefano – explains Donegani – during which I reiterated that the PeR list is not interested in joining the council and having councillorships, but only in a possible technical alignment, which would have allowed to increase our representation in the City Council without betraying our principles”. The former candidate may not make any choices official at this point. “I appreciated Di Stefano’s interest and commitment, but it is yet another demonstration of the excessive influence of the parties (and the usual suspects) on the choices of his coalition which do not leave autonomy to the mayors. In a few days I will reunite the group of PeR laboratory. Together we will make our assessments. We decide in a collegial manner. As always, we will make choices that are consistent and in line with our values and ideals.”
