The young athletes from Certaldo emerge from the Piscina la Bastia in Livorno with their heads held high, at the end of the “Coppa Toscana a Team” event reserved for the “Rookies A” category. In a context, which saw the participation of all the clubs of the regional circuit, the Fiammetta athletes coached by Diletta Conforti, did not fail to perform well at the competitive event, obtaining at the same time a promising 19th place finish, in addition to the comforting performances of the good people from Valdelsa, who give us hope in view of the upcoming finals of the Regional Championship.
In this regard, the twelve athletes from Certaldo have the following placings:
Lucilla Bondi 12 – gets 8th place in the 100m backstroke, 12th place in the 200m backstroke and 22nd place in the 100m freestyle.
Aurora Dodaj 12 – takes 11th place in the 200 butterfly and 17th place in the 100 butterfly.
Andrea Ghelli 11 – gets 12th place in both the 100 and 200 backstroke.
Federico Gulotta 11 – gets 12th place in the 200 butterfly and 25th place in the 100 butterfly.
Diana Galgani 12 – gets 17th place in the 200 IM and 23rd in the 400 freestyle.
Brando Giotti 11 – gets 17th place in the 100 breaststroke and then 24th place in the 200 breaststroke.
Lorenzo Taddei 12 – gets 19th place in the 200 IM and then 24th in the 400 freestyle.
Gaia Bettiol 12 – gets 21st place in both the 100 breaststroke and the 200 breaststroke.
Nicholas Monzani 12 – gets 23rd place in the 100 breaststroke, then 31st in the 200 breaststroke.
Giulio Cappelli 12 – gets 33rd place in the 200m backstroke, followed by 35th in the 100m backstroke.
Eva Chesi 12 – gets 37th place in the 200 freestyle, then 38th in the 100 freestyle.
Tommaso Cerrini 12 – closes the 100 freestyle with 40th place.
