Thus the president, Alberto Ciriopresented today in the Skyscraper of Piemonte region the components of new council. “We have demonstrated the compactness of the center-right. Our coalition had already identified the best synthesis immediately after the vote. In the elections, confidence was great, almost 8 points more than in 2019. This filled us with greater joy, positivity and also responsibility. We have a duty to continue the work of the past 5 years. All the councilors have my full trust.”
The rumours of the days have been confirmed: the province of Alessandria will be represented by Federico Riboldi and Enrico Bussalino.
The former mayor of Casale will acquire the powers of the Healthcare, essential levels of assistance, prevention and healthcare safety and healthcare buildings. “One of the most important and delicate delegations, which is worth 8 billion euros and which, above all, has to do with people’s lives” underlined the president Alberto Cirio “we strongly believe in the choice of Federico, he was a mayor of Casale, a city that administered well, as demonstrated by the administrative elections won again by the center-right. Riboldi will have a very important task such as reforming the waiting list system, within the year we will put the first piece in place: introducing the new methodology for accessing the public health care system. His close relationship with the Government will allow us to have the attention that Piedmont deserves. He will implement the healthcare construction plan, with all the hospitals already financed and with the location identified.”
The current president of the province of Alessandria, however, will take care of Autonomy, Security and Local Police, Immigration, Logistics and strategic infrastructures and Local Authorities. “A graft of great quality” the words of Alberto Cirio “Enrico was the mayor and this is an element of guarantee and he is president of the Province, the territory protagonist of the logistics and infrastructure revolution of our Piedmont. It will also have operational delegation to the Autonomy which, in light of recent national innovations, will have regulatory implementation. I remember that everything started from the request of the Chiamparino Council which called for the transfer of 2/3 of the matters of competence to Piedmont, we increased it to 3/3. The delegation to Logistics is the result of the re-entry of the Piedmont Region into Slala. The other members of the Cirio Council are Elena Chiorino (vice president with responsibilities for Education, Merit and right to university study, Work, Professional Training and Corporate Welfare, Relations with regional participation companies), Paolo Bongioanni (councillor for Commerce, Agriculture, Parks, Hunting and Fishing, Swine Fever), Marina Chiarelli (councillor for Tourism, Culture, Sport and post-Olympic, Equal Opportunities and Youth Policies), Marco Gabusi (councillor for Transport and Infrastructure, Public Works and soil protection, Civil Protection and refugee emergency management), Marco Gallo (councillor for the development and promotion of the mountains, internal areas and Gal, snow system, protection of protected areas, extractive activities, territorial planning, landscape and urban planning, biodiversity and truffle cultivation), Matteo Marnati (councillor for the Environment, Energy and drought emergency coordination, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, research and relations with public and private universities and research centers, digital services for citizens and businesses), Maurizio Marrone (councillor for Social Policies and socio-health integration, emigration and decentralized and international cooperation, Usury and confiscated assets, Housing, Family and Children Policies), Andrea Tronzano (Councillor for Budget, Finance and Economic and Financial Planning, Development of Productive Activities, Internationalization and Attraction of Investments), Gianluca Vignale (Councillor for Personnel, Legal Affairs and Litigation, Relations with the Regional Council, Delegification and simplification of administrative procedures, Development and Cohesion Funds).
The two undersecretaries of the Presidency of the Region will be Claudia Porchietto and Alberto Preioni.
