In recent decades we have always asserted that Gela is not a normal place, too many anomalies, too many inconsistencies, too many falsehoods, too many defamations.
In Gela it is easy to read that anti-racket exponents are sent to trial, and the association is definitively dissolved; that super-cops are in fact super-corrupt; or in other cases they threaten colleagues with severed pig heads; that mayors of legality come from dark backgrounds; that quaestors become regional deputies with 18 votes. Gela is the city where everything is the opposite of everything, the fault lies with the communicators of falsehood who without a sense of responsibility and shame are the spreaders of mendacious truths, they are subjects who, protected by the judiciary, have in fact destroyed a place. The weapon of disinformation is a very powerful weapon that is used to protect friends, create characters, eliminate enemies. All it takes is a few euros, a theater or television show, the gift of a bag, the concession of a sports area, to create a beautiful, good character. We must remind magistrates and communicators of falsehoods that criminal organizations are first of all misinformation, and only meritocracy, competence and study create development in a territory abandoned by God and men.
The result of this great confusion that has reigned for thirty years; Gela is unlivable, incompetent and ignorant friends of the communicators of falsehood or members of the “Gela System” are placed in administrative positions, the city is now a feather scattered in the wind, which has no hope.
The elections of 8-9 June 2024 will go down in Italian democratic history; have no precedent in the history of European administrative elections, perhaps worldwide in developed countries: three days after the polls closed the candidates for the municipal council do not know their preference votes, chaos reigns in Gela, absolute anarchy, the electoral war of in fact it did not go to sleep, on the contrary it was rekindled.
50 polling station presidents withdrew a few hours before the elections, replaced with recommended friends; improvised and incompetent scrutineers who made the municipal elections of Gela a joke; some sections were blocked in the counting, some presidents were counting municipal candidates in the European elections, and European candidates in the municipal ones, the intervention of the general secretary of the Municipality and the Municipality staff has worsened the situation, some are laughing, others are pulling their hair , in everyone’s eyes and faces we can read resignation, anger, disgust. Currently the electoral offices are in chaos, the municipal managers do not know how to use the new software, which arrived a few weeks earlier and was untested.
The first electoral commission took office yesterday, a magistrate arrived from the Court, assisted by the Financial Police, they are proceeding with verifying the vote and proclaiming those elected. It will take days. Meanwhile, tension grows in the city and some candidates talk about votes verified by the list representatives and given as assigned but then not present in the final report (this often happens in Gela) and other very serious anomalies typical during the elections of the City of the Gulf.
This one in Gela will go down in history as the first joke election in European democratic history. Logically expected to be a rain of appeals, it is rumored that the joke elections in Gela will be annulled, something that has never happened in Italy since the establishment of the Italian Republic.
