In Gela, one of the neighborhoods that suffers most from the lack of water is the San Giacomo neighborhood (historic center) in Via Farini, Sella, Minardi, Rattazzi in particular, the water only arrives for a few hours, at night from 2.00 to 8.10 in the morning, the pressure is very low and not everyone is able to get supplies.
For this reason. The institutions, the Caltaqua and Silciiaque bodies are asked to supply water during the day [dalle 07,00 alle 15,00] for at least 8 hours, as normal and logical as it is, with adequate pressure, so that people cannot be upset, stressed and humiliated by a deficient and unplanned management situation.
Furthermore, the free drilling of artesian wells for condominiums and villas is allowed, as well as the restoration within certain times of the abandoned Gela watermaker which continues to be paid for. Finally, drinking water supply points from natural sources should be created.
If within 15 days the serious problem is not resolved (water supply in the morning and adequate pressure) we will notify the Catania Prosecutor’s Office with a complaint, even if it does not have territorial jurisdiction.
