The last two in chronological order are Esposito and Parisi, goalkeeper 2005, right winger 2004, who have just won the amateur championship after bringing Campobasso back to Serie C. Without talking about Francesco Pio Sena, a left-handed boy from 2004, originally from Pietradefusi but born in Benevento. This year he played for Siracusa, finishing in second place behind Trapani, but then winning the play offs (which will be of no use because there should be no repechage): for him, left back like Theo Hernandez (his idol) 32 matches (including play offs), 3 goals and 2 assists. The president said it well on the bitter evening against Carrarese: “The young people of Benevento are not just Talia and Perlingieri…”. The long wave, it is very probable, comes from the various Talia, Viscardi, Perlingieri, who contributed to keeping Benevento’s reputation high in the championship and in the play offs. These young people returning from profitable loans have the burden of demonstrating that they are ready to move up in category: an entire D championship (among other things won by two of them, almost by the other…) is really worth a lot, Auteri he will have the responsibility to look carefully at these boys (for Esposito, Campobasso has already stepped forward to have him back…) and decide their immediate fate.
