The Municipality of Varese informs that, from Monday 24 June until 9 July 2024, a stretch of road on via Tasso, between the intersection with via Gasparotto up to the intersection with via Novellina and via dei Boderi (between number 49 and number 89), will be affected by works to complete the sewerage system and definitive asphalting .
This is therefore the final phase of the intervention carried out in recent months which had seen the complete redevelopment of the sewerage system pipes. Given the complexity of the works, it will therefore be it is necessary to establish a transit ban on the section of road concerned. However, the passage of residents’ vehicles and those heading to private properties will be permitted, compatibly with the progress of the excavation works, and of emergency vehicles and law enforcement agencies.
The intervention will also involve a change to the local public transport route and in particular to Line A. The Capolago district will be served by a specific connection which, from the stops in via Fe, via Maggiore, via Tasso (cemetery) and via De Amicis, will go up to the city via the provincial road of the lake and via Corridoni, overlapping in this section with line B and then reaching the center and the railway station. Departures from Capolago will take place at minute 05 of every hour; departures from the railway station at minute .29 of every hour.
The “traditional” line A will have its terminus in via Gasparotto. On this route (from Biumo Superiore/piazzale Litta to via Gasparotto, through the city center and the Bosto district) the timetables will be temporarily changed, precisely by virtue of the different setting of the service.
