Fiumicino, Great satisfaction expressed by the councilor for productive activities Raffaello Biselli and Federica PoggioCouncilor for Tourism, at the conclusion of the event, “The way of Taste”which between Saturday 15 June and Sunday 16 animated Via della Torre Clementina and Piazza GB Grassi, with tastings, shows and cultural events.
“La via del Gusto” represented a moment of great celebration and promotion for our territory. We are very satisfied with the result obtained, thanks to the thousands of visitors who crowded the center of Fiumicino over the weekend. The event reaffirmed the central role of gastronomy in promoting sustainable tourism – the councilors underlined -. This success proves it the potential of Fiumicino in the tourism sector and we will therefore continue to work to further develop our resources. The event also offered an important opportunity for local businesses to promote their products and attract new customers. Thanks to the valorisation of the food and wine excellences in which we are rich, we have also promoted greater awareness of the importance of supporting and preserving local traditions. The event “La via del Gusto” represents just the beginning of a path of growth and development that will see us as protagonists in the national and international tourism panorama”.
